Vitalant is seeking a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to guide donor care teams, coordinate mobile blood drive operations, and ensure a smooth phlebotomy workflow across sites in Rosemont, IL. The role combines leadership with hands-on phlebotomy and regular vehicle operation in a community-focused setting.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy experience, supervisory training within six months, and a valid CDL or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to complete and pass CDL license program.
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Supervisory training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, guiding Donor Care Technicians.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile drives.
• Ensure donor comfort and provide information during phlebotomy.
• Supervise staff and assist the Manager in evaluations.
• Drive vans and buses to various donation sites.
