Job summary

Vitalant in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to guide donor-care teams and oversee blood drive operations, delivering safe, comfortable donation experiences.

This role leads on-site activities, coordinates setup and breakdown of equipment, educates donors, and supports supervisors while traveling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Active driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to obtain CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site.
• Coordinate the setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites.
