Job summary

Vitalant in Aberdeen, SD is hiring Mobile Phlebotomists to support donor care by setting up blood drives within a 200-mile radius, greeting donors, and performing blood draws with paid training.

The role features Monday–Friday schedules with occasional overnights, a 10-week paid training program ( Fargo, ND ), and a base pay of $20 per hour plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K with 5% match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED - Required.
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record - Required.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Able to lift 40 pounds - Required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

What to Expect

Schedule: Monday - Friday - No Weekends. Include Occasionally 2-3 overnights per month (All Expenses: hotel room and food Paid by the company).

Base pay: $20 / Hour Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Start Date: 10/12/2026

Training Information: 10-week Paid Mandatory Training program - 100% attendance required. Including 8 weeks in Fargo, ND (All Expenses: hotel room and food Paid by the company). Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm; for classroom training and then field training follows the mobiles.
