Job summary

ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our Stamford, CT location. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining patient trust through clear explanations of procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of phlebotomy experience, and preferably phlebotomy certification or medical assistant/paramedic training. Prior patient service center experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients and builds trust.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and performs blood draws in a safe, skillful manner.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors with focus on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Performs daily activities under supervision, maintains records and a professional environment.
