The position requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy experience, and strong data entry skills, with preference for medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required; 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• High volume phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain trust and confidentiality.
• Perform daily activities accurately under supervision; maintain records and documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership and process excellence while ensuring safety and accuracy of patient information.
