Job summary

ICONMA's client, a Clinical Laboratory company in Greenwich, CT, seeks a Phlebotomist Float to join the team. The role centers on blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

You will work in a fast-paced lab, performing venipunctures, labeling and processing specimens, and supporting workflow. A valid phlebotomy certification and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employ­ment.
• Minimum 2 years experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing blood draws and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, store, and transport specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure accuracy by matching requisitions, labeling, and testing orders.
