Job summary

ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist II at our Spring Hill, TN location. The role focuses on drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient trust and safety throughout the process.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and 3 years of phlebotomy experience, with strong customer service in a healthcare or retail setting. Experience in a Patient Service Center is preferred, with data entry skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a calm, trusting environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Perform daily activities accurately under supervision and maintain proper records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
