Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for an onsite, 6-month contract in Cumming, GA. Pay rate ranges from $21.70 to $23.25 per hour. The role requires 8am–5pm shifts, with overtime eligibility and no sponsorship for visas.

The Phlebotomist II will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients to explain procedures while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and safety. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info/initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to ensure labels match the patient.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
