Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 2-month contract in Douglasville, GA. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe, patient-friendly environment in a fast-paced setting. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay rate is $21.70–$23.25 per hour (USD).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• THREE years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labels post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
