Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our client in Atlanta, GA. This contract position offers onsite work, with a 3-month duration and pay rate $21.70–$23.25 per hour. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and phlebotomy certification where required. Travel to multiple locations may be needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
