Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II to support a healthcare facility in Charlotte, NC. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2 pm, on-site at 28226. Local contract length is 12 weeks with pay between $19.93 and $21.36 per hour.

The role performs blood collections, specimen processing, and patient registration while ensuring accuracy and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Strong phlebotomy skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain required documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support multiple locations as needed while maintaining quality, accuracy, and excellent customer service.
