Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Raleigh, NC. The role is a local contract for 4 months, scheduled Tue–Sat 7a-4p, with a pay range of $19.93 to $21.36 per hour.

You will perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, document maintenance data, and ensure correct patient information. A high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of phlebotomy experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and label/centrifuge/store specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
