Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Newport, TN 37821. Schedule is M-F 8A-5P EST. Local contract position lasting 14 weeks with pay range 19.92/Hour - 21.35/Hour.

The Phlebotomist II will perform blood collections, specimen processing, and patient registration while ensuring accuracy, quality, and excellent customer service. Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain required documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support multiple locations as needed while maintaining quality, accuracy, and excellent customer service.
