Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 to 5 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and document maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures and requisitions.
• Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes clearly to patients.
• Ensure accuracy by matching requisitions to tubes and labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
