Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience at an HCA facility.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• CPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely obtain blood samples from patients for laboratory procedures and properly process these samples.
• Verify patient identity verbally and by checking the ID band before specimen collection.
• Collect and process specimens for in-house and reference testing.
• Assist with training of new hires and phlebotomy students.
• Maintain inventory and contribute to department efficiency and safety.
