Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to collect specimens and perform venipuncture and finger sticks across age groups.
• Proficient in specimen processing, labeling, and data entry within the LIS.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to safety and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process specimens; register and enter orders accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families about collection procedures and prepare specimens for transport.
• Maintain orderly workflow, monitor OSR and pending collections, and troubleshoot issues.
• Operate the specimen workflow systems and support clerical tasks as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements.
