Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Mount Dora, FL, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with rotational Saturdays. Pay starts at $21.70 per hour, with potential bonus eligibility based on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, and data entry using lab systems. Requires three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Prepare and label specimens; process for transport as required by test order.
• Navigate lab technology systems and verify orders; enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with statistics and data submission.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
