Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The role includes specimen collection, patient samples, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay starting at $21.70+, with potential bonuses based on performance and organizational factors. Benefits and career advancement opportunities are included. Excellent English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments following corporate policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and other departmental records.
• Complete trainings timely.
