Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support testing operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekend coverage. Strong phlebotomy experience and accurate data entry are essential.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with medical training preferred. Certification is preferred; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required if applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with department policies and procedures.
• Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs on schedule.
• Complete online and in-person training on time.
