Responsibilities include verifying orders, entering data, handling billing details, and maintaining phlebotomy logs. A minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience and flexibility—weekends and overtime—are essential for success

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab technology systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
