Quest Diagnostics in Conroe, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. The role operates Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, with rotational weekends, and offers competitive hourly pay starting at $22.35+.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and processing tests according to procedures, while ensuring quality and compliance. Applicants should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with preferred phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies.
• Complete training courses timely.
