Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Burleson, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, perform routine tests, and support client administrative tasks. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekend coverage and a pay range starting at $22.35 per hour.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and the ability to work with laboratory information systems.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communications.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
