Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist II to support our client's medical facility in Ocala, FL. This is a 4+ month assignment with potential extension and a competitive pay rate, plus mileage reimbursement.

Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist II to support our client's medical facility-based Ocala FL 34471. This is a 4+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details
  • Job Name: Phlebotomy
  • Float Phlebotomist II
  • Location: Ocala FL 34471
  • Duration: 3 months + Contract (Possibilities of extension)
  • Shift: Monday- Friday between 5:0 Am - 5:00 pm and every other Saturday.
  • Pay rate: $22.50 - 24.41/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
  • Mileage reimbursement 0.72 cents per mile from base work location to other float location.
Responsibilities
  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
  • Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 Years of phlebotomy experience required
