Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II for a healthcare facility in Falls Church, VA. You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection across age groups, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. The role requires 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections, and a HS diploma.

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Fallschurch, VA.

Job Details
  • Schedule: 800-430pm Monday to Friday
  • Location: Fallschurch, VA
  • Contract Length: 14 Week/s
  • Pay Range: 20./Hour - 24.47/Hour

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties
  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
  • Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
