This contract role requires a minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws, with strong patient identification and safety focus. Education includes a high school diploma; medical training is preferred. Three-plus months? No—3+ contract role with potential extension; pay ranges $19.00-$21.35 per hour.

Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
  • Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
  • Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
  • Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Pay Range:$19.00- $21.35/hr

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.
