Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Covington, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform associated duties Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The role includes handling drug screens and biometric screenings, with a pay range of $21.70+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and managing emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
