Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Douglas, GA, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role includes collecting specimens, administering oral solutions, and verifying orders using lab systems. Requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience and data entry skills; weekend availability is needed.

High school diploma and driving eligibility are required. Competitive pay starts at $20 per hour with potential for annual bonuses; extensive benefits

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
