Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–9:00 AM). The role offers pay starting at $20.00 per hour with performance bonus opportunities and benefits depending on hours worked.

The ideal candidate has three years of phlebotomy experience, patient specimen collection skills, and strong data-entry accuracy. A High School diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments as required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, and phone/email tasks.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance and temperature logs).
• Complete training courses timely.
