Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Nags Head, NC, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with Friday 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, offering a hourly pay around $21.50+. You will collect specimens, verify orders, and perform data entry in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client information.
• Enter data accurately on computer systems.
• Collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
• Complete trainings timely.
