Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5:30 PM). The position offers a pay range starting at $21.50 per hour, with opportunities for performance bonuses.

The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and operating laboratory information systems in a busy clinical setting. Candidates should have several years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, incl. pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule incl. weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify test orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, email/phone).
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
