Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Freehold, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule with a rotating weekend. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab protocols, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years phlebotomy experience, strong English communication, and a HS diploma. Certifications preferred; driver’s license may be required. Benefits listed apply to FT staff.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, calls/emails.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
