Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Jackson, NJ, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekend shifts. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour. Role includes specimen collection, data entry, and patient-related tasks. Training and certifications are encouraged; benefits start day one for qualifying FT staff.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, incl. pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately using computer systems.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Handle specimen processing (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
• Complete training courses timely.
