Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Hoboken, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II to perform specimen collection and related tasks in a Monday–Friday schedule with a rotating Saturday. Strong data-entry skills and comfort with lab information systems are required.

Base pay ranges from $24.50 to $26.25 per hour, with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience are required; phlebotomy certification is preferred. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately as required.
• Obtain patient IDs and enter billing information following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparation for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, phones, emails.
• Adhere to policies and submit statistics as needed.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
