Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Gresham, OR, is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Monday–Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $23.80 per hour and includes bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data-entry skills, and reliable transportation. A high school diploma is required, with certification preferred. Vaccination is required with possible exemptions.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature logs) timely.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
