Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Jackson, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with rotational weekend coverage. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens per procedures, entering data, verifying orders, processing and transporting samples, and maintaining phlebotomy records. You will also handle non-patient duties such as inventory and phones as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders by using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per corporate policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
