Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Newton, MA seeks a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support client services. Role involves phlebotomy procedures, data entry, and adherence to lab protocols, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotational weekends.

Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. Requires strong English communication and reliable transportation.

Formación

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to use lab technology systems.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada and Washington if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
