Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Westwood, NJ, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM with rotational weekend shifts. The pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour.

Offers may include annual bonus compensation depending on performance and other market factors. The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada and Washington).
• The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab technology systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
