Quest Diagnostics in Berwyn Heights, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–4:00 PM shift with rotational weekends. This role requires precise specimen collection and accurate data entry using lab technology systems.

Qualified candidates have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably phlebotomy certification. Strong English communication skills are essential, with reliable transportation a plus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with inventory and office tasks.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
