Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Dublin, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our evening/rotating schedule. You will collect specimens, perform labeling, and handle data entry while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires three years phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to work weekends with rotating weekends. Competitive compensation starts at $21.50+ per hour with benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and career advancement

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, and answering phones.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs on schedule.
• Complete training courses timely.
