Quest Diagnostics Lombard, IL, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, process tests, and support patient care in a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend rotation. The role offers shift differential potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Required experience includes three years in phlebotomy and strong data-entry skills. A high school diploma is required, with medical training and phlebotomy certification preferred. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard and data-entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Handle non-patient duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
