Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Iselin, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist II. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM with weekend rotation. Base pay ranges from $24.50 to $26.25 per hour, and second/third shifts may include differential pay.

A performance bonus may be offered based on contributions and company policy. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, order verification, and maintaining logs.

Qualifikationen

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible schedule with weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings on time.
