Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm; rotating Saturday shift 8:00am-12:00pm
As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a key role in delivering quality patient care by collecting and processing specimens accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail, commitment to patient service, and ability to support multiple collection environments help ensure reliable diagnostic testing and a positive patient experience.
Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collection techniques
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Verify patient demographics and specimen labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate records and documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality
Provide exceptional customer service and create a professional, welcoming patient experience
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
Travel to and support multiple patient service centers or physician office locations as needed
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred
1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
Strong customer service experience, preferably in a retail or service environment
Keyboarding and data entry experience required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if applicable
Flexibility to travel between locations and work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Ability to meet compliance requirements
Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
