Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, pediatric and geriatric techniques.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing per procedures.

• Support multiple locations and travel as needed; overtime and weekends possible.

Pay Rate: $26.35 - $28.25 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collection techniques
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Verify patient information and obtain required patient acknowledgments to ensure specimen accuracy
• Maintain accurate records and documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience
• Support multiple patient service centers and physician office locations as business needs require
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collections while adhering to established protocols
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to travel between locations and work overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
