Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a key role in supporting patient care through accurate specimen collection, processing, and documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dermatology office setting, where strong patient service skills and attention to detail are essential to ensuring a positive patient experience.
Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and forensic specimen collections following established procedures
Verify patient identity, label specimens accurately, and maintain required documentation
Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
Provide exceptional patient service while explaining procedures and helping patients feel comfortable throughout the collection process
Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment
Support specimen collection and processing needs in a physician office setting
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Strong customer service and patient communication skills
Keyboard and data entry experience
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet compliance requirements
Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
