Qualifications

  • Strong specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements.
  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and other specimen collections following established procedures.
  • Accurately process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure specimen labeling accuracy through required documentation and patient confirmation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
  • Support multiple patient service locations as needed based on staffing and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
