Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist Representative I to work in a hospital setting in Big Rapids, MI. The role involves drawing blood, labeling specimens, and handling patient interactions with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Shifts run Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to midnight, with weekends on a rotating schedule, totaling 28 hours per week. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Customer service experience is valued in hospital settings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Label and process specimens according to lab protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and freezing as required.
• Complete clerical duties such as inventory and answering phones when needed.
