Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Grand Haven, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens Monday through Friday, with every 3rd Saturday shift from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role emphasizes accurate data entry and adherence to procedures to support patient testing and billing processes.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred) and is comfortable working in a team, communicating in English, and handling routine phlebotomy

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
Medical training in assistant or paramedic fields preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (where required).

Mansioni

Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and screenings.
Administer oral solutions as trained.
Verify orders and test data using lab systems and client communications.
Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems for record-keeping.
Identify patients and manage billing information following policy.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, emails.
Follow departmental policies and participate in data submission as needed.
Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs timely.
Complete training courses on time and maintain competency.
