Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Roseville, CA, is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens, assist with testing, and support patient services. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotational weekends; pay ranges from $22.20 to $24.55 per hour, and eligible bonuses may apply.

The ideal candidate holds a state phlebotomy license, applies accurate data entry, verifies orders, and maintains logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training in medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV and WA.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and submission of statistics.
• Complete training courses timely.
