Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Covina, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens, perform phlebotomy tasks, and support lab operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required; CA does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.

Pay range is $24.00–$25.70 per hour with potential annual bonus. Qualifications include high school diploma, relevant medical training, and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred and required in CA, NV, WA.
• Medical training in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Prepare and process specimens, label, centrifuge, and transport as ordered.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with statistics and data when needed.
