Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist I in Stuart, FL. This on-site role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. Starting pay is $20.00+ per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance and company factors.

You will collect specimens, perform basic tests, and navigate lab systems while delivering excellent customer service. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred; one year phlebotomy experience is typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Navigate lab systems to verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport preparation).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and perform non-patient facing duties as required.
• Read and follow departmental policies and participate in training.
